It’s only January, but I’m sure your looking forward to your spring break coming up in March! You may think that it is to early to start getting ready for spring break, but it takes the body an average of 6-8 weeks to really change. Today starts the Spring Break Countdown where I will be giving you daily exercise and nutrition plans!
62 Days until spring Break-Day 1
Workout- The workout today is fairly easy, but it is a beginning step towards that rockin body!
- Take 30 min out of your day to go for a walk or run. At either level, make sure that you are at a brisk enough pace to keep a conversation, but not easily.
- After your run, find somewhere in your house or outside to do the following circut training:
- 1 min of sit ups
- 1 min of pushups
- 2 min of high knees
- 1 min of squats
- Repeat the circut 5-7 times
Eating- Breakfast- 1 sliced banana with 1/2 cup of yogurt, topped with 1 tablespoon of honey
Lunch- Salad with grilled chicken, bell peppers, feta cheese, and alvacado.
Snack- Handful of almonds with 1 tablespoon of raisins
Dinner- You decide where you eat, but make sure that you have a 1/2 plate of raw food and 1/4 plate processed food (such as bread)
